Focusing on Youth Development

The focus of all 4-H programs is the development of youth as individuals and as responsible and productive citizens. The National 4-H Shooting Sports Program stands out as an example. Youth learn marksmanship, the safe and responsible use of firearms, the principles of hunting and archery, and much more. The activities of the program and the support of caring adult leaders provide young people with opportunities to develop life skills, self-worth, and conservation ethics.

4-H Shooting Sports Award Pin Program

The program offers junior shooters an opportunity to be engaged in positive youth development experiences and recognized for marksmanship performance. Attractive awards for a range of abilities, from new shooters to the elite levels of junior shooting competition, will be presented. To order pins contact: Nichole Rae at 719-866-4743

National 4-H Shooting Sports apparel, accessories, supplies

Currently there is no supplier that has taken over the supply of 4-H shooting sports apparel. You will need to work with your state coordinator and local vendors for now. We know that many folks are looking for 4-H shooting sports apparel. Unfortunately, the contract has expired with Western Heritage our former supplier of many of these items. Western Heritage Company is no longer the order fulfillment house for 4H shooting sports.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Your National 4-H Shooting Sports Committee is working with National 4-H Council and National 4-H Supply to incorporate items in the 4-H catalog in the future, however, for now, we will all be on our own. Your state 4-H shooting sports logo is available for you to use with local vendors to obtain apparel with the winged state shooting sports logo. Please keep in mind that this is to be treated the same as the standard 4-H name and emblem in that State 4-H Program Leaders and County 4-H Faculty are permitted to work with local vendors to have apparel produced for their state use. Vendors are not granted permission to market these logo products, but to produce them for your use and at your request.
